
Luxury Marketing Council History
The Luxury Marketing Council is the concept and creation of Gregory J. Furman, former Bergdorf Goodman Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales Promotion, now President of Furman Communications & Marketing and Executive Director/Chairman of The Luxury Marketing Council.
The worldwide Luxury Marketing Council was founded in New York City in 1994. Since then the council concept has expanded to include chapters in major luxury centers in the United States and around the world. Today there are over 850 member companies worldwide. The DFW Chapter was founded in 2004. The Houston and Austin Chapters were founded in 2008.
